Walton Names New Executive Vice President Commercial Lines Sales & Operations

Walton Insurance Group (“WIG”) announces the hiring of Kyle O’Malley as Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations.  In this newly created position, O’Malley will be responsible for the growth and scalability of the organization via new business development, insurance carrier partnerships and process improvements.

Most recently with Daly Merritt/AssuredPartners of Michigan, O’Malley brings fifteen plus years of independent insurance brokerage experience on the agency side of the industry.  Prior to his insurance industry work, beginning with The Hylant Group in 2004, O’Malley worked in the mergers & acquisitions field in the Midwest marketplace applying the skills he learned with Deloitte & Touché in their public audit/finance and business consulting group.  Most notably, O’Malley spent ten years with Penske Corporation in numerous sales, customer service and operations roles.

In the community, O’Malley is a co-founder of Hockey Has Heart, a Michigan based 501(3)(c) charity established in 2002 that has raised and issued more than $2,000,000 to help hockey families in need.  He serves on the Board of The Judson Center, one of the State’s largest not-for-profit human services agencies serving children, adults and families needing support in their lives.  He is also on the Advisory Board of Worth Holdings/Worth Investments, a privately held financial holding company owing and acquiring profitable light industrial, manufacturing and distribution companies across the country.  O’Malley resides in Ann Arbor with his wife and four children.
