Types of Information Collected and How it is Used
Aggregate Information: The Agency may collect information that is not personal information about Users to measure traffic on the Site. This information is collected automatically on an aggregate basis (“Aggregate Information”) through the use of a “cookie” or small text file placed on the User’s hard drive by the User’s Internet browser. The cookie allows the Agency to track the number of hits or visits to various pages on the Site. The cookie is used only during a single connection to the Site, and is not used to track User activity after leaving the Site. The cookie is permanently disabled when the User exits the Site, and information about individual Users is not
collected, saved or distributed to others by Agency except as provided for in this Policy. Aggregate Information helps Agency understand Users’ needs, improve the Site, and demonstrate to others the volume and nature of Site traffic. Aggregate Information may be shared with third parties as described in the section called “Information Provided to Third Parties” below.
User Information: User information from the Site may be obtained, retained, and/or used (collectively “Used”) by the Agency to facilitate Users’ access to, use of, and/or participation in any products/services/resources/surveys (collectively “Services”) from the Site. Information about Users may be provided by the Agency to other entities, such as insurance carriers; vendors; agents/agencies brokers/brokerage firms and any others providing Services through the Site (collectively “Service Providers”), and such information may be Used by the Agency and Service Providers. The information collected on this Site: (i) Individual personal information, such as first and last name and email address. No other personally identifiable information is collected on this Site.
Services Information: Information from Users on the Site may be Used by the Agency, such as, but not limited to, for processing requests for and/or participation in Services offered by or through the Agency, including, but not limited to, from Service Providers. Such information about Users also may be provided to and Used by Service Providers, as described in the section called “Information Provided to Third Parties” below.
E-mail Information: Information that the Agency receives from Users via e-mail may be Used by the Agency and may be provided to and Used by third parties as described in the section called “Information Provided to Third Parties” below.
Information about Children Under 13: Our Site is generally intended for adults interested in obtaining insurance and it is unlikely that children under the age of 17 will use the Site. It is the Agency’s policy not to collect personal information of children under age 13. If it is necessary to collect such personal information from a child identified as being under age 13, Agency will do so only after obtaining verifiable parental consent. If Agency becomes aware that it has inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, such personal information will be deleted from Agency’s system.
The Agency uses a combination of industry typical security measures to protect personal information it collects. Such measures will change from time to time. The Agency makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, that such measures will protect all personal information collected, however the Agency will make reasonable efforts to protect such information from unauthorized access.

Your Rights to Access and Amend Your Personal Information
You have the right to request access to the personal information that is maintained about you on this Site to ensure that it is accurate. Subject to certain exceptions required by law, and provided we can authenticate your identity, you also can request corrections, amendments or deletions of any personal information obtained through this Site or otherwise in our possession as appropriate. You may also request changes to your preferences regarding how we use or disclose your information or how we communicate with you.

We will correct any erroneous information in a timely manner.
The request must include your name; address; telephone number; the specific personal information at issue; the identity of the document or record that contains the disputed personal information; and the desired correction, amendment or deletion (along with any appropriate supporting documentation). We will notify you within 30 business days after receipt of your request with all required information to notify you whether we require additional information, have made the requested correction, amendment or deletion or that we cannot do so and the reasons for that decision.
Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures: Walton Insurance Group is committed to the security of your financial and personal information. All of our operational and data-processing systems are in a secure environment that protects account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain and grant access to client information only in accordance with our internal security standards. Walton Insurance Group may link its web site to other sites. In no event, however, can Walton Insurance Group assume responsibility for the content of those sites nor their policies for the collection of client information.
Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information:
Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) generally prohibits any financial institution, directly or through its affiliates, from sharing nonpublic personal information about you with a non-affiliated third party unless the institution provides you with a notice of its privacy policies and practices such as the type of information that it collects about you and the categories of persons or entities to whom it may be disclosed. In compliance with GLBA we are providing you with this document which notifies you of the privacy policies and practices of Walton Insurance Group.
The GLBA further requires that we inform you that you have a right to prevent us from sharing nonpublic personal information about you with a non-affiliated third party for the purpose that is not specifically authorized by law is called your right to “opt out” of such information being shared.
Walton Insurance Group does not disclose any non-public personal information about its present or former clients to anyone except as permitted by law. We may, for example, disclose nonpublic personal information about clients to others for purposes of servicing their accounts with us, processing transactions that they request or authorize, or conducting credit or other verification checks. We will never provide account or personal information for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-insurance products or services of those companies. If we use a third party business partner, service company, or other business partner to prepare account documentation, service accounts, or for other purposes, we will make reasonable efforts to verify that business partners agree to safeguard our confidential information about you and your accounts with us and must abide by applicable law.

The Agency reserves the right to and may change this Policy at any time without notice to you, and changes will become effective when the revised Policy is posted on this Site. We may email periodic reminders or notices about changes, but you are encouraged to review this Policy frequently, so you are informed about the Agency’s privacy practices and policies.

Walton Insurance Group prohibits the use of our products and services in any manner associated with the transmission, distribution and delivery of spam. Any customer found to be using Walton Insurance Group’s products for sending unsolicited commercial email (spam) will be found in violation of this policy and our Terms of Service. Consequences for violation of this policy include immediate account termination as well as liability for civil, criminal or administrative penalties and damages.
What Is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited email also known as UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email). In compliance with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act of 2004, Walton Insurance Group prohibits the following:
- Emails sent with invalid or forged headers
- Use of Walton Insurance Group’s or another third party’s domain name or equipment to transmit email without the express consent from that third party
- Inclusion of URLs hosted by Walton Insurance Group within UCE
- Subject lines containing false or misleading information
- The use of harvested mailing lists or any list where the recipient has not given their prior consent
- Any other means of deceptive addressing and misrepresentation
- Interfering with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the services and products offered by Walton Insurance Group
The federal anti-spam law went into effect on January 1, 2004. The law provides specific requirements for sending commercial email and empowers the federal government to enforce the law. The CAN-SPAM Act defines commercial messages as those for which the primary purpose is to advertise or promote a commercial product or service. Penalties can include fines and/or jail time. How to Notify Us
If you’ve received unsolicited email from one of our users, please notify us immediately at [email protected]. If Walton Insurance Group finds unauthorized or improper use, it may, without notice, take such action in its sole discretion, including blocking messages from a particular Internet domain, mail server or IP address as well as terminating any account found in violation of this policy.
