I think it’s good to note that collision auto insurance and comprehensive auto insurance are very, very different. The fact that comprehensive insurance covers vandalism and theft, along with natural disasters and things like that is an important difference to note. I know a lot of people who don’t know the difference and are going to be pretty surprised if they ever have any issues like that. Thanks for sharing!

I have recently purchased my first car. I really love my car and want to make sure that I have the protection it needs. I didn’t know that many lenders require you to have collision insurance on your car to make sure you receive money to pay off the loan in the event you total your car. I’ll remember that while looking at rates and coverage options.

I have never been able to understand auto insurance very well. I understand that it is important, but it’s good to better know the difference between collision and comprehensive coverage now. There is always that uncertainty of what will happen, so it can be reassuring to know you’re covered. Something I didn’t realize is that being hit while parked by an unknown car is covered by collision insurance.

Wow I had no idea I can get insurance coverage for running into my garage! I actually did that before and had no idea it would have possibly been covered on my plan. Thanks for the info!
